Unleavened Turkey Sausage Cheese Balls

1. Mix one tablespoon of olive oil (sage, peppersto personal taste) and sausage crumbles together and warm in pan.

2. Add and mix in grated cheese thoroughly in mixing bowladding additional olive oil, if necessary, to make ingredients hold together.

3. Roll into balls about ¾ to 1 inch in diameter.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

5. Place balls on lightly-oiled baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes until brown.

Notes: If you desire to freeze the balls for serving later, bake 8 minutes and freeze. To serve at a later date, heat frozen balls at 350°F until brown and warm.

Ingredients:

1 pound turkey sausage crumbles

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 ½ tablespoons olive oil

8 ounces grated Longhorn cheese

1 teaspoon sage
