JANUARY 2021 | Fruit Kebabs

Ingredients:

Wooden kebab sticks

Orange slices

Grapes

Strawberry chunks

Banana chunks

H-E-B Chocolate Hummus

Instructions:

1. Build your kebab with orange slices, grapes, strawberry chunks, and bananas.

2. For an extra flavor boost, dip your kebabs in H-E-B Chocolate Hummus!

DECEMBER 2020 | Garlic, Tomato, Turkey & Cheese Wafflewich

Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 0 hr 5 min | Cook Time: 0 hr 15 min

Ingredients:

• 4 tbsp Orti di Calabria Garlic, Tomato & Chili Stir in Sauce

• 8 slices HEB Essential Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bread

• 3/4 lb HEB Select Ingredients Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, sliced thin

• 4 H-E-B Select Ingredients Mozzarella Cheese, thin slices

• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Instructions:

1. Preheat waffle iron.

2. Spread garlic, tomato & chili sauce over four slices of bread. Top each with turkey, a slice of cheese, and remaining bread.

3. Spread butter over both sides of each sandwich.

4. Cook in waffle iron until golden brownabout 2 to 3 minutes.

NOVEMBER 2020 | Chicken Bacon Jam Roll-Ups

Serves: 6 | Prep Time: 1 hr 10 min | Cook Time: 0 min

Ingredients:

• 10 oz H-E-B Select Ingredients Premium Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained

• 8 oz H-E-B Whipped Cream Cheese

• 1 cup Cookwell & Company Escabeche Style Salsa, divided use

• 4 tbsp Better Than Good Bacon Jam

• 6 medium H-E-B Bake Shop 100% Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas, room temperature

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, mix together chicken, cream cheese, 1/2 cup salsa and bacon jam.

2. Generously spread mixture over tortillas. Roll up tightly, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

3. When ready to serve, remove plastic and slice into 1-inch rolls. Serve with remaining salsa.

OCTOBER 2020 | Bacon Jam Banana Toast

Serves: 1 | Prep Time: 0 hr 5 min | Cook Time: 0 min

Ingredients:

• 2 slices HEB Essential Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bread

• 2 tbsp Better Than Good Bacon Jam

• 1 medium banana, sliced

Instructions:

1. Toast bread in a toaster.

2. Spread 1 tablespoon of bacon jam on each slice of toast.

3. Layer toast with banana slices and enjoy!


Chef's Note: If you don't like bacon jam, this works with peanut butter as well

SEPTEMBER 2020 | Whole Wheat Rustic Tuscan Pizza Bagels

Serves: 6 | Prep Time: 0 hr 10 min | Cook Time: 0 hr 10 min

Ingredients:

• 6 small mini whole wheat bagels, separated into halves

• 1/2 cup Orti di Calabria Rustic Tuscan Pasta Sauce

• Favorite pizza toppings

• 3/4 cup(s) H-E-B Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 425ºF.

2. Line a cookie sheet with foil and evenly space out bagel halves.

3. Top each bagel with sauce, your favorite pizza toppings and cheese.

4. Bake 10 minutes, or until cheese melts. Cool briefly and serve.
