Timeline of Events
Opening & Introductions
The event kicked off with a brief introduction of each candidate, setting the stage for their opening statements. Each candidate had the opportunity to present their vision and priorities for our city of Lubbock.
Q&A
Following the opening statements, our moderator guided the conversation with thought-provoking questions directed to the candidates. Many of the questions were supplied by members of the community through an anonymous survey. With a strict time limit of one minute per response, candidates succinctly addressed key issues facing our community.
Closing Statements
To wrap up the evening, candidates delivered closing statements summarizing their platforms and commitments. Afterward, all attendees were welcome to converse within the library until 8:30 p.m.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined us to engage with our local mayoral candidates. Because of you, the event was a great success!
