This panel discussion serves as an essential component of a voter education initiative that is proudly brought to you in partnership by Texas Tech Public Media, the American Association of University Women, League of Women Voters, The America Association of University Professors, Tech the Vote, and The Museum of Texas Tech University.

Tech The Vote
Tech the Vote is a non-partisan organization that is able to register Texas Tech students to vote as well as educate the Texas Tech community on voting rights and access, understanding laws and voting systems, and increasing understanding of United States governing systems. Tech the Vote provides access to voter education information to all Texas Tech students in order to increase civic engagement and voter engagement across the Texas Tech University campus.

Issue Overview
At 6pm, the event will begin with a short presentation of the underlying facts surrounding public schools, vouchers, and the general arguments of those both for and against a Texas voucher program. This unbiased introduction is researched and created by the KTTZ newsroom based on their ongoing and thorough reporting on the subject, and is meant as a starting point for the panel discussion.
Panel Discussion
The remainder of the event will consist of guided conversation among the panelists focusing on questions curated by the KTTZ Newsroom, Tech the Vote, and audience questions submitted via the link above.

The panel will conclude at 8pm.
