With today’s changing media landscape, newsrooms in Lubbock have been cut down to skeleton operations, unable to provide the deep reporting the city is craving. Texas Tech Public Media’s new series, Beyond the Report, is the deep, local reporting Lubbock is lacking. Each year we take a major issue facing the community and profile the people and institutions on the frontlines of that issue. The end product is a digital-first video series aimed to engage and inform the community we serve.
